The Country Music Association of Australia (CMAA) represents a wide range of professionals who participate in Australian country music industry. The CMAA has several objectives:
- To encourage, develop and promote the interests of all professionals in the country music industry;
- To encourage, develop and promote Australian country music to the world;
- Promote knowledge of, interest in, and respect for the heritage of Australian country music and the people who create it and perform it;
- To organise and stage activities that will contribute to the maintenance and growth of the Australian country music industry in Australia and internationally.
